Oklahoma woman reunites with deceased mother's missing photo

 


BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) — For the past 20 years, whenever Carol Ingram would browse stores like Goodwill, the Salvation Army or local antiques shops, she would scan the old photographs, quietly praying to see her mother's face.

The Broken Arrow woman was just 18 when her mom, Wilda Hunter, died of colon cancer in 1969 at the age of 48. About two decades ago, after Ingram's aunt passed away, one of the few photographs of her mother — young, beautiful and newly engaged — disappeared during an estate sale.
