Lois Pauline Sacket, 85, was born February 25, 1933, in Ellis County in Shattuck, Oklahoma, to Charles and Gladys (Newlin) White and passed away Monday, July 23, 2018, at Greenbrier Village in Enid, Oklahoma.

When Lois was 2 years old, her father passed away due to a kick from a horse. Her mother later married Charles Godfrey who served as her stepfather until his death at an older age. Lois grew up on farms in Arkansas and Oklahoma and graduated from Cleo Springs High School. During high school, Lois and her sister, Doris, were pretty well known for their softball and basketball skills.
