Fredrick “Howard” Miller passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Ellsworth County Medical Center in Ellsworth, Kansas, at the age of 75. He was born on May 15, 1943, to the late Gerold and Vona Lee (McGuire) Miller in Alva, Oklahoma. After graduating from Alva High School with the Class of 1961, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1962 and proudly served his country for 20 years until his honorable discharge and retirement in 1982.
