NWTC's paint and collision repair program boasts new equipment

August 12, 2018

Installation and assembly of the PPG Envirobase Paint System took place in the Collision Repair program at Northwest Technology Center's Alva campus. The system is a waterborne paint system that is environmentally friendly and technologically advanced. Students will be using the system, which is becoming common in the automotive collision and refinishing industry. Carter Paint Company worked with Northwest Technology Center and PPG to secure the donation of the equipment. Pictured are (from left) NWTC Superintendent Daren Slater, NWTC 's Collision Repair instructor Josh Anderson, Brian Wegner of PPG and Randy Nunley of Carter Paint Company. School begins at NWTC on Monday, Aug. 13.
