Two requests for Alva Tourism Committee

The Alva Tourism Tax Committee will consider two funding requests during their meeting on Wednesday. The committee is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 15 in the city council chambers.
The Friends of the Fair are asking for tourism tax dollars not to exceed $11,520. The Ride for Hatfield Park 2018 motorcycle fun ride is asking for up to $2,960.
The committee will vote on approving the minutes of the June. They will also hear financial reports from June and July....
