Access to Northwestern – Woodward affected by road construction project

Construction began Aug. 6 in Woodward on 34th Street between Oklahoma Avenue and Hanks Trail. The first area of construction work involves the bridge area north of Downs. Ultimately, 34th Street will be widened to three lanes.
Access to the Northwestern Oklahoma State University-Woodward campus on 34th Street is affected by the construction. Until further notice, students and visitors who wish to access the campus will need to enter 34th Street from Oklahoma Avenue. No access is available from Hanks Trail or Downs Avenue.
