The Alfalfa County commissioners met Monday morning with a lengthier agenda than usual. They accepted and approved last meeting’s minutes, maintenance and operation warrants for payment, blanket purchase orders and four road crossing permits. District 2 had two permits for $6,000 and District 3 had two for $1,000.
Rick Dietz Construction won the bid on a bridge in need of repair from flood damage on County Road 560, three-eighths of a mile of Highway 11. That bid came through at just over $14,000.
