AHS softball beats Hennessey twice in doubleheader

Hallie Durkee (No. 24) pitches a shutout in the Ladybugs' first game in their doubleheader with Hennessey.

Alva, Okla. – In a doubleheader with Hennessey, the Alva High School Ladybugs softball team came away with two wins, 6-0 and 6-5.

Game 1

Pitcher Hallie Durkee did not allow any runs through the first game. H. Durkee pitched seven innings, allowing two hits, one walk and 15 strikeouts.

The Ladybugs scored in the first inning due to an error, and in the third inning scored three home runs. The runs came by way of Aspen Warren, Chloe Durkee and H. Durkee.
