Alva man charged with rape

An Alva man has been charged with rape and his wife was charged with child neglect in Woods County.
On Tuesday, Aug. 21, Earl Wayne Bell II, 38, was charged with rape – first degree and with lewd molestation, both felonies. First degree rape is punishable by five years to life in prison. Lewd molestation is punishable by imprisonment for up to 20 years.
Roleta Luann Bell, 39, has been charged with child neglect, also a felony. This crime is punishable by imprisonment not exceeding life, or a fine of not less than $500 nor more than $5,000, or both such fine and imprisonment.
