SE Swept on Day Two at Washburn

TOPEKA, Kan. – Southeastern found the going tough on day two of the Washburn Invitational, dropping a back-and-forth contest in the day's opener, 3-2, to Colorado State-Pueblo before finishing the event with a 3-0 loss to host Washburn.

The losses drop the Savage Storm to 1-3 to open the season.

Arianna Baker led the offense in the opener with 12 kills, while Abby Jameson was right on her heels with 11 while Paige Hawkins chipped in eight.

Sydney Meget handled the setting duties to the tune of dishing out 36 assists while adding 11 digs and a pair of aces.
