Kansas City man gets 12-year prison sentence in I70 shooting

CLAYTON, Mo. (AP) — A Kansas City man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for an Interstate 70 shooting rampage and police chase in eastern Missouri.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 26-year-old Reginald Adams Jr. still has cases pending in St. Charles and Warren counties after his sentencing Monday in St. Louis County on nine felony counts.

Police says Adams "snapped" over a dispute with a girlfriend in March 2015 and started shooting at other cars from his vehicle.
