Woods County Girl Scouts went on a camp-out to Selman Living Observatory to observe the night sky. They also did a service project for the observatory. The scouts were asked to either scrape and paint picnic tables or build a bug hotel. The scouts opted to build the bug hotel. Twenty-nine adventurous souls traveled south of Freedom for their weekend fun.
The Girl Scouts enjoyed their time this past weekend roasting hot dogs, making s'mores, and looking at the night sky. Even though it was cloudy, the scouts still were able to see several astronomical objects peaking out between the cloud cover...
