ALVA, Okla. – For the 12th consecutive season the Ouachita Tiger football team will begin the year with a 1-0 record as they defeated Northwestern Oklahoma State 29-21 at Ranger Field on Thursday night.

With a 1:48 left in the game junior running back Brockton Brown (Sheridan, Ark.) rumbled ahead for an eight yard gain to give the Tigers game clinching first down. Ouachita (1-0, 1-0 GAC) went into victory formation the final three plays to milk the clock away and come away with another close win against Northwestern Oklahoma State (0-1, 0-1).

The Ouachita offense was cranking on all cylinders...
