EDMOND, Okla. – Harding junior Bartek Kwiecinski opened the 2018 cross-country season by winning the UCO Land Run, hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma on the same course where Harding will compete for the Great American Conference Championship later in the season.

Kwiecinski, a native of Wschowa, Poland, covered the four-mile course in 20:32.7.

Kwiecinski's win was the first in his 10-race career and marked the 10th time since 2000 that a Harding runner won a season-opening race. It was also the first time Kwiecinski was Harding's top runner.
