Emil Joseph "EJ" Blue, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2018, in Plano, Texas, due to complications suffered from a stroke. EJ was born on October 27, 1948, to Emil Morris Blue and Doris Wright Blue in Alva, Oklahoma. He was raised in Alva and graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in 1970 with a degree in psychology.

EJ married Stacy Lyne Kebert on July 26, 2000, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and she survives him. He is also survived by a sister, Susan Grode and husband, Dr. Tim Grode, of Edmond, Oklahoma. He was also a beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews.
