JOPLIN, Mo. – SWOSU Cross Country was in Missouri on Saturday morning to compete at the ultra-competitive Southern Stampede, hosted by Missouri Southern on a course that has hosted the NCAA Division II National Championships as recently as 2017.

SWOSU was led by Eliza Cummins, who completed the 5-kilometer course with a time of 20:40. Josilyn Schenk, Bailey Richardson, Yvette Tavarez and Haley Mandakunis completed the race within 30 seconds of each other and Brianne Kirchgessner was the final finisher for the Dawgs at 23:12.
