ECU's Mora Named GAC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

RUSSELLVILLE, ARK. – East Central University women's cross country red-shirt junior Anna Mora has been named the Great American Conference Runner of the Week for Sept. 19.
Mora finished sixth individually and helped the Tigers to an eight-place finish at the Missouri Southern Stampede. She has also helped ECU to be ranked No. 9 in the United State Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Central Region poll.
The El Paso, Texas, native finished the 5k race in 17:47.1 and was the top finisher from all the GAC runners at the event. The next finisher from the GAC came in at 17:59.2 for 12th place.
