Burlington School News: Dr. Stacey Croft settles into new superintendent's role nicely

New Burlington Schools Superintendent Dr. Stacey Croft.

This year Burlington Schools welcomes Dr. Stacey Croft as the new superintendent. She served as the interim superintendent for the last three months of the 2017-18 school year.

Croft received her doctorate in school administration in May of 2017. She spent the past five years at Burlington as the special education teacher. She has been teaching special education a total of 29 years in Enid, Medford, Cherokee, and Burlington.

When asked how she felt about being offered the job, she said that it came as a big shock at first, but she knew it was right for her. Dr. Croft's transition has been good...
