Cross Country Runs at Chile Pepper Festival

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Southeastern was once-again paced by Rebekah Christman who improved on her opening week time and helped the Savage Storm to a 26th place finish out of the mammoth field of 51 teams at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville, Ark.
Christman knocked almost 20 seconds off her season-opening mark and dipped below the 19-minute mark, finishing the run at 18:49.1 to finish 73rd out of 425 runners.
Skye Summers was next in and stayed under 20-minutes while improving her time as well, stopping the clock with a 19:13.8 to finish 108th.
Regan Ramos was the third SE runner to finish after knocking around 25 seconds off her opening week time and posting a 20:46.2 to finish 230th.
Letizia Hernandez maintained the trend of improved times, shaving more than 40 seconds off her previous time and finishing 290th with a time of 21:28.4.
Lindsay Klasek followed next with a time of 21:50.9 and finished 314th.
Bailey Pritchett was eight spots behind her with a time of 22:00.1 to finish 322nd.
Madelynn Coffey turned in her first time of the season, posting a 22:47.2 to finish 351st, followed seven-spots later by Mireille Hernandez who was in 358th with a time of 23:07.4.
Southeastern will be back in action on Sept. 29 at the Rim Rock Farm Collegiate Classic in Lawrence, Kan.
