Southeastern Volleyball Picks up Five-Set Win over NWOSU

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern landed the final blow in a back-and-forth slugfest on Friday night in Bloomer Sullivan Gymnasium, downing Northwestern Oklahoma State 3-2 in a key Great American Conference matchup of teams fighting for position.

The win lifts the Savage Storm to 6-11 overall on the season and 2-3 in GAC play as they will now have a week to prepare for an Arkansas Road swing to face Arkansas tech and Harding on Sept. 29 and 30, respectively.

The SE offense was paced by a trio of hitters with Abby Jameson putting up a match-high 17 kills, while Jaclyn Menner added 13 and Arianna Bak...
