AUSTIN, Texas (Sept. 22, 2018) – St. Edward's (Texas) scored two early goals off corner kicks and rode that lead the rest of the way to beat Oklahoma Christian 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Lewis-Chen Family Field.
St. Edward's (4-2-1, 4-0 Heartland Conference) is a longtime league women's soccer power and it looked like the Hilltoppers would run away from OC (0-7, 0-4) in the early going.
In the 13th minute, a corner kick by India Wentz went off OC goalkeeper Addison Milner's fingers and into the goal, and in the 16th minute, Chidera Aririguzo headed home another corner kick, taken by Eliana C...
