Women's Soccer: Tigers Falter in Second Half

SHAWNEE, Okla. – The Ouachita women's soccer team lost to Oklahoma Baptist on Saturday afternoon by a final score of 2-1 at Jim Darnell Field.

Both Ouachita (3-4, 1-1 GAC) and Oklahoma Baptist (4-4, 2-0 GAC) seemed pretty even for the most part of the first half of play. The Tigers edged out the Bison in total shots with eight in the first period.

Oklahoma Baptist came out firing in the opening moments of the first half, out shooting the Tigers 4-1 in the opening 15 minutes of playing time. The Tigers offense and defense stuck to their game plan and methodically worked the Bison down the field...
