Women's Golf: Alimata Rabo Earns Second GAC Offensive Player of the Week Honor of the Season

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – SWOSU Soccer junior forward Alimata Rabo has been named the Great American Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. The award was announced Tuesday afternoon by the league office.

Rabo earns her ninth Offensive Player of the Week award in her career at SWOSU. She was instrumental in the Bulldogs two victories last week scoring six goals and recording one assist. Rabo fired off a total of 18 shots 10 of those being shots on goal. Against Northwestern Rabo would register two goals, one assist and five points. Her best game of the week came against East Central where she scored a season high four goals in the first half, tying the GAC and school record for most goals in a game. Her eight points for the game placed her third on the GAC all-time list for most points in a game. Rabo would record seven shots against East Central, with all seven being shots on goal.

Rabo and the Bulldogs will be in action on Thursday, September 27 as they take on Ouachita at 3:00 pm in Arkadelphia, Ark.
