SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist claimed Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week honors in women's soccer, the Great American Conference announced Tuesday.

Jennifer Goethe, a senior defender from Shawnee, earned Defensive Player of the Week after anchoring a back line that limited Ouachita Baptist and Harding to 18 shots combined in a pair of 2-1 Lady Bison wins.

Emily Griffith, a redshirt sophomore from Parker, Colorado, kept opponents to 1.00 goals per game for the week in grabbing both wins over Ouachita and Harding. She recorded nine saves for the week.
