The Woods County Economic Development Committee (WCEDC) held their quarterly meeting Tuesday at noon at Northwest Technology Center in Alva. Members present were Daren Slater, Randy McMurphy, Allan Poe, Matt Tucker, Kay Decker and Sandie Olson. Absent was Steve Lohmann.

WCEDC Director Sonja Williams suggested the committee delay the election of officers until after new appointments in June. Terms for Slater and Lohmann expire then. McMurphy made a motion to that effect with a second from Tucker. The motion carried.
