BURKBURNETT, Texas – In a follow-up to one of the biggest meets of the season for the Northwestern Oklahoma State University cross country teams, the Rangers and Lady Rangers each finished fourth at the Red River XC Shootout, hosted by Midwestern State.

In what turned out to be a notoriously slow course, Garrison Blanton was the top individual finisher for the men as he crossed the finish line in fourth place. Blanton, a junior from Ponca City, Oklahoma, finished just 16-seconds behind All-American candidate James Majenge of Cameron.
