Alfalfa County commissioners recognize 4-H Week

October 3, 2018

Officials in Alfalfa County opened their regular Monday meeting by unanimously voting to proclaim this week as OSU 4-H Week. The commissioners approved a series of agenda items, beginning with minutes from last week’s meeting. After signing off on those, the usual maintenance and operation warrants, blanket purchase orders, appropriations, alcohol beverage tax allocation, and monthly officer reports were reviewed and accepted. Monthly highway expenditures were approved as well. There were three road crossing permits with District 1 holding two of them at $3,562.50. The other permit belonged to District 2 and came in at $3,500. The trio of commissioners moved on to the next agenda item, ultimately approving a service contract between Tisdale & O’Hara, PLLC and Alfalfa County for representation on gross production tax issues. Before moving on to discuss surplus items, a resolution was attached to a letter for Security National Bank in regards to a lease renewal.
