County Excise Board approves budgets, meeting dates

The Woods County Excise Board met Wednesday morning in a special meeting to approve budgets and their meeting schedule for next year. Present were Bob Seivert, Joe Shirley and Chris Olson.
The board approved the following list of month appropriations:

2019 Meetings and Holidays
The schedule for next year’s excise board meetings was approved. The board meets the third Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. Next year’s dates are Jan. 16, Feb. 20, March 20, April 17, May 15, June 19, July 17, Aug. 21, Sept. 18, Oct. 16, Nov. 20, Dec. 18.

Budgets
Budgets for three schools and one town were approved. The Alva School budget lists a general fund of $18,369,390.13, building fund of $2,794,323.67, child nutrition fund of $685,183.76 and sinking fund of $289,612.50.
The Freedom School budget shows totals of $2,242,167.71 in the general fund, $293,890.21 in the building fund and $41,739.36 in the child nutrition fund.
The Waynoka School budget includes a general fund of $9,906,772.28, building fund of $1,802,555.77, child nutrition fund of $137,390.05 and sinking fund of $$1,140,847.92.
The Town of Dacoma budget is for $406,976.90.
