South Barber's Pollock headed to state tennis Friday

At the Regional Tennis Tournament, Taylor Pollock qualified for a trip to state this weekend at Pratt. She stands with her mom and dad, Mark and Krista Pollock. Her mom is also the South Barber High School tennis coach this year.

South Barber senior Taylor Pollock earned a trip to compete at the Division 3-2-1A State Tournament this Friday and Saturday. The state tournament is held in Pratt at the Walter Blake Tennis Complex. This is the second year that Pollock qualified for the state tournament.

Pollock qualified for state last Friday at the 3-2-1A Regional Tennis Tournament at Conway Springs. She earned fifth place by defeating Hughes of Trinity Catholic 6-0, 6-0, falling to May of Conway Springs 6-2, 2-6, (7-10 tiebreaker), beating McCausland of Wichita Independent 6-2, 6-0 (state qualifying match) and defeating Cl...
