Men's Soccer: West Texas A&M jumps on Eagles early, pulls away

OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 11, 2018) – West Texas A&M jumped on Oklahoma Christian for three goals in the first 30 minutes and pulled away for a 5-0 win on Thursday night on a soggy Eagle Soccer Field.

Reece Schattle had a hat trick and added an assist for West Texas A&M (9-2-2, 6-2-1 Heartland Conference), which is undefeated this season against teams not named Lubbock Christian (Texas).

With the loss, OC (6-6-1, 4-4-1) stayed at 13 standings points, falling into a tie for sixth in the Heartland with St. Edward's (Texas). The top six teams will qualify for the league's postseason tournament. The Eag...
