The City of Alva Tourism Tax Committee will consider three funding requests during their October meeting. The committee will meet Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. in the council chambers.

First on the agenda is discussion and action on the Alva Chamber of Commerce and Northwest Oklahoma Visitor’s Center secretary salary. The request is for an amount not to exceed $6,000.

The committee will consider a request for $2,300 for advertising in the Red Carpet Country 2019 Visitor’s Guide.

The third request is for an amount not to exceed $15,000 for the NWOSU Ranger Rodeo.
