LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Harding sophomore Alicja Minczuk won for the first time in her career, defeating other runners to win the Little Rock Open 5K cross-country race Saturday. It was Harding's first individual win of the season and the first since Madison Drennan won last season at the GAC Preview.

Minczuk, a native of Poland, won in 17 minutes, 33 seconds, cutting a full minute off her career-best 5K time. She defeated second-place Shanieke Watson of Arkansas-Little Rock by a little more than five seconds.
