Women's Soccer: Lady Eagles build early lead, hang on to win at TAMIU

LAREDO, Texas (Oct. 13, 2018) – Oklahoma Christian put a season of frustration, and years of frustration for the Lady Eagles against Texas A&M International, on pause on Saturday afternoon at the TAMIU Soccer Field.

Lauren Parker and Denise Bennett each scored in the first 17 minutes and OC hung on the rest of the way for a 2-1 win over the Dustdevils. The decision ended the Lady Eagles' 17-game losing streak, gave them their first win ever in Laredo in six tries, improved their all-time mark against the Dustdevils to 2-8-1 and avenged a 4-0 loss to TAMIU in Oklahoma City earlier this season....
