Woods County commissioners approve several permits

John Smiley and David Hamil were present at the Woods County commissioners meeting Monday morning. Chairman Randy McMurphy was absent.
Eight permits were approved. All of them are in District 3. Williams Midstream Gas had four gas lines, costing $500 each. Alfalfa Electric Cooperative put in an electric line, with no fee. PolyPipe Inc., Select Energy Services, and D&B Resource Solutions each put in a water line with no fee.
The court clerk and sheriff’s office monthly reports were approved. Blanket purchase orders were also approved.
The NWOSU Kids Rodeo on Oct. 24 was approved for using the courthouse lawn. This will happen at the same time as other NWOSU rodeo events.
Next was discussion of the transfer of appropriations from the Sheriff Service Fee M&O to the Capital Outlay of $30,000. They received a grant to buy a gator. This money is for the purchase, but the grant will later reimburse the county.
Next, inventory items were identified for being junked or traded. A Trimple GPS for mapping (ID no. D219-001) was sent to junk. Eight Garmin Rinos (ID nos. B601-77 through B601-84) were surplussed to trade.
Lastly, David Manning came to report about the Treasurer’s Transcript of Proceeding on the sale of county property acquired at re-sale. Pierce purchased it for $50 a parcel plus costs.
