DURANT, Okla. – Following Southeastern's 21-0 victory over 15th-ranked Southern Arkansas on Saturday cornerback Daquawn Brown and punter Joel Carlos haver earned Great American Conference Player of the Week honors.

Brown was named the league's Defensive Player of the Week, While Carlos took home the Special Teams Player of the Week honor.

Brown, a native of Los Angeles, Calif., won the award after spearing the defense to its second shutout of the season, posting five tackles and a league-best five pass breakups.
