KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — More than 70 Kansas religious leaders and community activists are asking the state's political candidates to stop vilifying immigrants.
The Kansas City Star reports that interfaith leaders signed an open letter to candidates saying that immigrants in the country legally and illegally are vital parts of communities and contribute to the economy.
