The Burlington FFA held its annual Greenhand Night on Monday, Oct. 15, highlighting their freshman members or "greenhands." Greenhands is a familiar term in the world of FFA referring to members with less experience.
FFA Greenhands are required to memorize the FFA Creed by E.M. Tiffany and present it in front of an audience and panel of judges. These members also take the Greenhand Quiz, which tests their knowledge of FFA and its history, official dress, code of ethics, salute, emblems, motto and creed.
