After finishing with the top scores for their respective teams at the Blue Tiger Invitational and Central Region Preview, Henderson State golfers Trey DePriest and Luisa Gartmann were awarded with the Male and Female GAC Golfer of the Week Honors on Friday.

DePriest, who finished second overall as an individual at the Blue Tiger Invitational, shot a 4-under-par 68 on Monday and followed it up with a 3-over-par 75 in the event's second round. With a two-day score of 143, DePriest was one of four golfers in the 104-man field to finish under-par. DePriest helped the No. 8 Reddies cap off the fall season with their fourth top-five finish and second tournament championship.

Gartmann had a consistent showing throughout both days of the NCAA Division II Central Region Preview, carding a 2-over-par 74 in the event's first round, before finishing with a 3-over-par 75 in the final day of the tournament. The senior finished in sixth place in a field of 95 with a two-day score of 149. It was Gartmann's second top-ten finish of the season, as she took second place at the Central Region Fall Preview in early September.
