WEATHERFORD, Okla. – SWOSU Soccer defeated the Harding Bisons 4-2 on Thursday behind Alimata Rabo's two-goal performance.

The two sides went back and forth in a tightly contested match for most of the first half before Harding would open up the scoring on a Bethany Sutherland header goal off a pass by Nicole Morgan in the 20th minute to take a 1-0 lead. The Bulldogs would answer as Kylee Bertrand would set up Rabo for her first goal of the game in the 26th minute to tie the game at one goal apiece. The two sides would remain locked at 1-1 going into the halftime locker room.

SWOSU would quickly take the lead in the second half on Rabo's second goal of the match in the 47th minute. Sandra Nabweteme placed one past the keeper in the 61st minute extending SWOSU's lead. Nicole Petrino found the back of the net off a pass from Nabweteme to push the Bulldogs lead to three in the 62nd minute. Harding would not go away easy as they would make a late push cutting SWOSU's lead to 4-2 with a goal in the 89th minute from Analee Reed. The Bulldogs would hang tough and outlast the late attack by the Bisons to come away victorious.
