Women's Soccer: Lady Eagles fall to league-leading St. Edward's

OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 18, 2018) – St. Edward's (Texas) extended its lead in the Heartland Conference race with a 7-0 win over Oklahoma Christian on Thursday night on a still-soggy Eagle Soccer Field.
Katherine Whitman and Sarah Gunderson each had two goals and Whitman added an assist for St. Edward's (9-3-2, 9-1-1 Heartland). The Hilltoppers scored five goals in the first 21 minutes and cruised after that, outshooting OC 31-4.
The Lady Eagles' best scoring chance came in the 27th minute, when Brianna Concienne's strong shot from just outside the penalty box required a save by St. Edward's goalke...
