Men's Soccer: Hillcats Fall to No. 7 Mustangs

CLAREMORE, Okla. – Rogers State men's soccer scored in the fourth minute of the game, but No. 7-ranked Midwestern State evened the score and pulled away in the second half to down the Hillcats 4-1 on Saturday (Oct. 20) at Soldier Field.

The Hillcats (8-6-2, 6-4-2 Heartland Conference) took an early lead on a goal by Chris Sowder in the fourth minute for a 1-0 advantage over the top 10 team. Noah Robson picked up the assist on the early goal.

The No. 7-ranked Mustangs (13-1-1, 10-1-1 Heartland Conference) evened the score late in the first half when Alex Mullet scored off a free kick in the 41s...
