Guy Arthur Winters was born July 12, 1931 in Roxanna, Oklahoma, to Mildred Hazel Thacker and Edward Dan Winters. He passed away peacefully October 21, 2018, at Elk City, Oklahoma, surrounded by his wife and children at the age of 87 years, 3 months and 9 days.

Guy grew up and graduated from Preston High School. He was married to the love of his life, Jeannie Milliger, on December 13, 1953, in Pratt, Kansas.
