EL DORADO, Ark. — Henderson State's offense ran into a wall on Saturday afternoon, as No. 21 Southern Arkansas held the Reddies to just 163 total yards and captured the 2018 Murphy USA Classic crown 34-14. The loss snaps Henderson's four-game winning streak.
The Mulerider defense stifled the Reddies (5-4) in the opening half, as two HSU turnovers and two quick touchdowns just before the half from SAU (8-1) helped the Riders build a daunting 34-0 advantage at the halftime break.
