OBU Women's Soccer Seniors Exit with Perfect GAC Mark

SHAWNEE – Oklahoma Baptist became the first women's soccer team to complete a 12-0 Great American Conference season with a 4-0 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State Saturday on Senior Day.
Ruth King put the Lady Bison on top in the seventh minute with an assist by Hannah White.
Abigail Hicks made it a 2-0 game, taking a pass from Emmily Infante and chipping it over the head of the NWOSU keeper in the 13th minute.
White made it 3-0 in the 27th minute with an assist by King, sliding past the defense on the right and shooting the ball back left.
Reagan Mann got on the scoreboard in the 66th minute, putting a shot into the top left corner with an assist from King.
OBU out-shot their guests 22-3 with Hicks and White taking four shots each. White put three shots on goal.
Sam Engles played 74:23 in goal and collected a save while Emily Griffith had another save in her 15:37.
Seniors Engles, Dely Chavez, Hicks, Kerregan Edwards, Infante and Jennifer Goethe were recognized in their final regular season game.
The Lady Bison host the Great American Conference Tournament Thursday and Saturday, hosting Ouachita Baptist Thursday.
