Persistent Lady Rangers pull out 5th-set victory

Alva, OKLA. – Northwestern Oklahoma State University volleyball ended their five game losing skid Thursday, defeating the Bison of Oklahoma Baptist University (14-16, 7-7 GAC) in five sets [24-26, 25-19, 15-25, 26-24, 15-13].

In an exciting first set, the Bison took down the Lady Rangers 24-26; however, the Black and Red retaliated and tied the match up, winning the second set 25-19.

Northwestern went on a 5-0 run to finish off the second set, hitting a .243 clip on top of their 13 kills for the set.

Going into the third set, the Bison came out hot and gained a comfortable lead on the Lad...
