The Woods County Commissioners held a short meeting Monday, Oct. 29. Commissioners Randy McMurphy, David Hamil and John Smiley were present along with County Clerk Shelley Reed.

Smiley said the Dacoma blacktop will be closed Oct. 30 and probably Oct. 31. He said a tin horn has caved in and will be replaced on Tuesday. There’s also a tree by the road that will need to be taken out, and that will require an extra day. The location is Craig Road and County Road 470. Traffic will be detoured around the area while work is being done.
