Mooreland Bearcats varsity football team will play their last home game, a conference game against Beaver, on Friday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. The Beaver Dusters are 0-9 while the Bearcats are 1-8. According to the stats, this could be a competitive game if you look at just offense. Both teams have comparable stats of total points scored for the year at 43 for Mooreland and 42 for Beaver. There is a big difference in the stat for "points against," where there have been 205 points scored against Mooreland and 471 points scored against Beaver. Friday's game is also Senior Night, a tradition that honors seniors at the last home game of the season. Lance Bolar and Duke Morris from Freedom School play for the Bearcats.
