City of Moore will not enforce medical marijuana ordinances

MOORE, Okla. (AP) — The city of Moore will not enforce recently passed ordinances intended to regulate medical marijuana in the Oklahoma City suburb.

City Attorney Randy Brink told The Oklahoman that the rules never took effect because of a recent court ruling against similar ordinances in Broken Arrow.

The regulations include restrictions on where marijuana businesses could operate, limiting operating hours for dispensaries and requiring businesses owners to purchase a permit.
