Waynoka BOE accepts policy on medical marijuana

Short and sweet was the theme in Waynoka Monday night for the school district’s board of education meeting. Superintendent Scott Cline gave his report after board members approved the consent agenda (items of a routine nature like fund reports and encumbrances). He said expenditures are up approximately $60,000 from last year but, as mentioned in previous meetings, a large portion – $90,000 – is due to the teacher pay increase.

Expenditures elsewhere are down, and revenue is slightly up with the increase in valuation. Child nutrition expenditures are holding steady and revenues are up slightly...
