“If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging symbol” (1 Corinthians 13:1, NIV).
Many may recognize this passage from marriage counseling or a class on dating, but when Paul penned these words, he was in the midst of a section of teachings about spiritual giftedness.
